Joy in the Bass
A night of music that brings the community together.
Joy in the Bass is an ongoing gospel concert and community outreach initiative that brings together people from all walks of life—families from Trench Town and other inner-city communities alongside supporters, sponsors, and community leaders—around safe, uplifting entertainment that strengthens unity, hope, and social cohesion. In communities carrying heavy stress, safe spaces to gather matter—and without them, connection frays and negative influences fill the gap. Through God-honouring music and a shared experience built on goodwill, we bring neighbours together around what is wholesome, healing, and hopeful—building bridges across backgrounds and strengthening community where it’s needed most.
What we’re doing
- Host a community gospel concert that provides wholesome, God-honouring entertainment
- Use edutainment to reinforce hope, unity, and faith-based values
- Create a safe, family-friendly environment for community connection
